Our 360 workshop is a focused architectural review of your home, designed to help you decide what to do, and focus your brief before you commit to a major project.

What is a 360 view?
A different perspective
This is a one-to-one workshop at your home with Andy from Studio Barn.
We'll walk through the house, talk through how you live now and what you'd like to change, and look at the opportunities from an architectural, interior and landscape perspective.
It's deliberately informal. There isn't a presentation to sit through and there isn't a predetermined solution. And there's no obligation to take our services further.
It's a professional design-making service for homeowners before they commit to a major purchase, project, or to help you fine-tune your brief to make the design process more efficient.
It's a conversation about potential, and making your house your home.
What we'll do
Informed, independent advice
Before we visit
We will do a background check on the property, review its planning history, context and any constraints that may ultimately affect a planning application or build.
A focused visit to your home
We'll spend up to 3 hours at your home, walking through the house and discussing how you live, what isn't working and what you'd like to achieve.
We'll explore ideas together, and consider the practical implications of different approaches, including planning and design considerations where relevant.
After the visit
We'll also produce a short summary report after the workshop, and give you guides on appointing your design team, principal designer, non-build costs to budget for, and what to expect in each stage of work.
You'll have something tangible to refer back to; whether you decide to appoint an architect, make smaller changes yourself, or indeed if your goals are better met in a different property.

Before you commit to any surveys, design fees (or even the property purchase itself) then this is a worthy investment.
The 360 Workshop is just £360, no VAT.
There is no obligation to appoint Studio Barn for further work.
This price travel within 25 miles of SK7, but drop us a message if you're further afield and we'll see what we can do for you!

Not ready for a full architectural project?
That's exactly the point.
You don't need to have a scheme, drawings or even a clear idea of what you want.
You just need a house that isn't working the way you want it to.

I need this but I don't own the property yet
Seeing the property first-hand is vital, but if you can arrange access with the agent, we can always continue the workshop somewhere nearby. Drop us a note and we'll see what we can do.
Does this include surveying?
No. For the purposes of this workshop we can use rightmove-style plans (used with a pinch of salt), or we can look for previous planning applications on the site, just so we have something to sketch over. If you have inherited plans with your home, great, they will be useful.
Do you advise on garden and interiors too?
Yes. The 360 view is using our experience to give you the best and most holistic view of your property. While the key focus will be the house itself, we see gardens and interiors as absolutely essential pieces of the puzzle to create the best outcome.
What time can I book this for?
Depending on distance, typically between 9:30 and 2:30 Mon-Thurs, and all day Friday. But drop us a note with preferred time and we'll see what we can do.
How do I book and pay?
Make your enquiry via the email contact below, and we'll call you to arrange a time to suit you, and send you an invoice, to be paid in full advance to secure your slot.
What happens after the workshop?
We will summarise our discussion, email any sketches, and our guides to undertaking a project. You are under no obligation to continue using our services, the workshop is there to establish what you want to do and crystalise your brief.
I need to cancel my booking
We understand life sometimes gets in the way. Please try and give us as much notice as possible and offer potential alternative dates.
